Drown Poem

Your mistral-breath

Insisting into action.

Unrelenting stare of

Air.

You bore into me

With your breeze

And I’ll crack

Thankfully

And not bend

Again.

You broke my stem.

How this once-proud bloom

Now willingly drowns

In your muddy pool.
