Far Flung Clear

Far flung clear

In twilight call to prayer

There comes across that space a frowning, crying lament of stars

The pain felt here is a star a-brightly shining there

Full weight of life

The pin-piercing sensation of angels lapping against the shores of flesh

Then bearing me up

On a beam of half-interested love and detached shame

Cry for those faery fingertips to lift me away

To bring me home

Upon a dream-stolen charmed carpet

Yet the winged-shamballa-sprite

Returns me to my soft-silken bed of sweat and broken tears

To begin the slow ascent alone, so alone

He places in me a molten memory

A gentle wind to assist my climb of years

To begin again

Begin again

Begin

Again
