How do you really launch yourself in the theatre world?

Without a doubt, finding an ACTIVE agent who will work hard for you is a god-send. Sitting on the books of one who doesn’t work for you each day is a way to sit around for months, even years, beached!


A real step forward is to stage a show in fringe theatre. In fact, getting fringe credits (not am-dram) is a good way not only to keep active, but also to get known.


A third step is to get involved in well-selected small film work. Look for established writers and directors who are experimenting.
